A half bosses with ornate lettering spelling out 'RIA'. The boss immediately south of this reads 'MA'. Together they spell out 'MARIA' in reference the Virgin Mary, to whom the church is dedicated. This is one of a number of references to the Virgin in the roof bosses, each of which celebrates the church's patron saint.
